《种植牙科学》作为一个评论和指导性的季刊，每季度出版1次。它的摘要被翻译成4种不同的语言。与所有种植团队成员相关的知识和素材都会被75个社团编辑及编辑审查委员会严格审查。在不久的将来,ICOI会在每一期的周刊中刊登中国牙科医师关心的技术文献与临床论文,并全篇翻译成中文。 《种植牙科学》包括两个主要部分：基础和临床研究，临床科学与技术。也包括种植牙营销以及与种植牙相关的工业。这本全球期刊的内容包括学术论文、文献、教材评论、会议摘要、读者评论和来信以、新产品报告，以及国际上最新研发的牙科材料。 Implant Dentistry is published quarterly as a peer-reviewed and indexed journal with translations of abstracts in four different languages. Over seventy-five Section Editors, Society Editors and Editorial Review Board Members are committed to the presentation of material, which represents the knowledge and concerns of all implant team members. The journal has two major sections: Basic and Clinical Research and Clinical Science and Techniques. Articles on marketing and industry relating to oral implantology/implant dentistry are included as well. Significant position papers, literature and textbook reviews, meeting abstracts, readers comments and letters to the editors, editorials, and new product reports round out the scope of this global periodical.

It is a learning guide for pre-doctoral students getting acquainted with implants dentistry and is a valuable resource for post-graduate students. A goal of this Glossary is also to facilitate communication with dental laboratory technicians, dental hygienists and assistants. It is our intent that this Glossary becomes a reference document for a standardization of terminology for conferences and scientific publications.
